Balaji Padmanabhan is Anderson Professor of Global Management at the University of South Florida’s College of Business. He received a B.Tech from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) and a PhD from New York University (NYU). His research addresses data analytics for business applications, algorithms for online news recommender systems, service quality and customer churn, behavioral profiling and pattern discovery from customer databases. His work has been published in leading computer science and information systems journals and conferences. He has worked with several firms on technical, strategic and educational issues related to business and data analytics and has created and taught courses in areas related to business/data analytics, computational thinking and electronic commerce.
